It is National Police Week, and federal RCMP officers are informing Canadians about issues that hit close to home.
Two campaign’s have been created to raise awareness of crimes that affect many Canadians.
The “Turn Back Crime” campaign aims to inform Canadians about organized online crime and how to stay safe.
“Preventing Family Violence” is to raise awareness of domestic issues, which represents a quarter of all police-reported violent crime in Canada.
