The Telkwa Fire Station is looking for a few brave individuals to come help out.
The station is currently looking for about five volunteer firefighters and help the village emergency services run as effectively as possible.
The job can be intimidating and even dangerous, but Fire Chief Randy Cunningham says that real life is much safer than what most people think.
“What you see on the tv and in the movies isn’t what we do in real life. We just need approach things in a safe and controlled manner,” he says.
Those interested must be 18 years old, hold a class 5 driver’s license, and be in good health.
