RCMP stressing precautions for Boat Safety week
Boating Safety week is upon us, and the BC RCMP are encouraging everyone to be extra cautious while out in the water.
Sgt. Rob Vermeulen is reminding people to treat your boat with the same safe practices as you do with your cars such as avoiding drinking and boating.

Know your speed when around others
Don’t drink and boat
Take a boating course
Be aware of the dangers of cold water
When towing or transporting your boat ensure that it is properly secured.
