After 35 years in the business, a local hotel will be under new management.
The Hudson Bay Lodge was recently bought out by Prestige Hotel and Resorts, a family-run BC chain.
Owners Al and Bonnie McCreary have spent over 3 decades running the Lodge but are now looking towards retirement.
They’re happy to have found a company that held the same values as their own.
“We’re pleased that it’s still owned by a BC family. It just ensures that a quality product will be in town for a lot of years,” Al says.
Prestige also promised to keep on all staff, including some that have been around for over 20 years.
