A local drilling company is doing even more for the community following their Bike to Work Week Efforts.
Hy-tech Drilling promised to donate .50 to the Special Olympics for each kilometre their employees biked.
They have just announced that they biked 963 kilometres that week and raised $481.50.
HR Manager Coby Wiens says it’s “nice to get the emPloyees involved,” and that the donation is more personal because each employee earned it.
This year’s total surpassed last years when Hy-tech donated $319.00 to the same cause.
