The Ministry of Transportation has closed the Quick bridge at Quick Station Road to pedestrian and vehicle traffic, following a routine inspection in Quick.
Bridge engineers are expected to be at the bridge this week for a detailed inspection and to determine next steps.
A short detour is available for residents of Quick via Lawson Road.
There is no estimated time on when the bridge will reopen.
