Big steps taken for new Airport Cafe

Hospitality at the Smithers airport could be in new hands shortly.

Council has agreed to negotiate on a 2-year lease to Shilo and Chris Werrell, who will serve food, drink and play host at the Airport Cafe.

The revised proposal comes after Council rejected the couple’s original 5-year plan on May 26th.

Bugwood Bean currently occupies the position and are under contract until at least the end of June.
