The Bulkley Valley Museum is getting in on the Canada Day Celebrations.
A few events include the guided Culture Crawl next Wednesday, and the ongoing 100 Years of Photography in the Valley exhibit.
Curator Kira Westby says some fascinating works are by a man named William Covert and his photos that pre-date Smithers.
“Smithers existence came at the loss of this community of Hubert and people just moved out of there. So it’s sort of fascinating to have these pictures of this community that only really existed for a couple of years,” she says.
This exhibit will run until June 30th at the museum, the Culture Crawl guided walk will begin at 10 am On July 1st.
