Local parent advisory councils receive funding by the province

Parent Advisory Councils within the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District have received a funding boost from the province.

This is from a gaming grant that has provided nearly $11 million in Community Gaming Grants for parents advisory councils (PAC) and district parent advisory councils (DPAC).

In the region, Muheim Elementary School received $10,420 for its parent advisory council and Walnut Park Elementary School received $10,440 for its parent advisory council.

Additionally, Hazelton Elementary School PAC received nearly $37,000 and Decker Lake Elementary School Parent Advisory Committee received $14,520.
