Hazelton has welcomed it’s first baby of 2022.
The baby girl was born at Wrinch Memorial Hospital on January 2 at 8:55 a.m. weighing 7lbs 4oz.
She is being welcomed by Courtney and Brett in South Hazelton and by two big brothers and a big sister.
Smithers first New Year’s baby was born on January 1 at the Bulkley Valley District Hospital.
The baby boy, Nathan was born weighing in at 8lbs 6 oz and is welcomed by a big brother.
Additionally, Northern Health’s first baby in 2022 was born at University Hospital of Northern BC to a couple from Hixon.
