Several chambers of commerce across the Northwest have teamed up for a new campaign for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Prince Rupert, Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers, Houston, Burns Lake and Vanderhoof are all participating in the Live Love Local Northwest campaign.
According to a news release, the concept of the campaign is framed by a support local educational campaign that was done by the Smithers District Chamber of Commerce.
It added that the campaign’s goal is to rethink shopping, supporting local and to showcase each region’s economic diversity through local businesses.
The campaign began on January 15 and is open to all residents, tourists and local businesses.
Anyone looking for more information is being encouraged to go to the Live Love Local Northwest website or to contact your local chamber of commerce.
