BC Hydro could be flooded with new workers in the near future.
One-third of all current employees are eligible to retire in the next five years, which will leave a lot of vacancies in need of addressing.
Recruitment Manager Sean Mullins says often times, workers are stationed close to home.
“If we hire from a particular region, there’s more of a propensity to go back to that region after they’ve graduated,” he says.
