Stikine MLA Doug Donaldson was bragging to BC Legislature this week about a local group.
He spoke of the Bulkley Valley Child Development Centre, and the work they’ve done to help people in 22 communities across Northern BC.
He shared his findings after visiting the Centre and see recognized their efforts.
“In the building I saw child activity resource kits in blue, plastic tubs, stacked and ready for shipping, on loan to parents and communities as far away as Atlin, more than 1,250 away. Since there’s no bus service, they depend on local transportation companies to do the delivery.”
He finished his 2-minute speech by congratulating the BVCDC for their “commitment and perseverance.”
