Council has increased the number of members on Smither’s Advisory Planning Commission.
The APC plays a crucial part in overseeing developments within Town, such as new buildings.
On Tuesday’s meeting, Council agreed to up the total members from 8 to 10 while maintaining a quorum of 5.
Mayor Taylor Bachrach says this can really help new buildings and businesses momentum.
“We want to make sure that they’re not waiting unnecessarily because we can’t get enough members together for a quorum,” he says.
Council will be taking applications to fill the new positions in the coming weeks.
