BC Parks says Ross Lake Provincial Park will be closed for one month starting this week.
This is because staff will be removing the dam on the north end of the park and replacing it with a safer rock-lined outflow channel.
The park will be closed from Wednesday (August 31) until September 30.
According to BC Parks, this closure is to ensure the public safety as heavy machinery will be operating in the area.
