Smithers RCMP recently returned a stolen vehicle back to Kitimat.
Around 11 AM on Wednesday, August 5th, RCMP located the stolen truck along highway 16.
Once confronted, two males tried to flee on stolen mountain bikes, leaving a female asleep in the truck.
Within the vehicle, police also found phones, ipods, cameras, and GPS units. These are also believed to be stolen.
The two males have been charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Theft of Auto, and Failing to Comply with conditions.
RCMP remind citizens to secure vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
