Lottery players across Northern BC are looking to strike it rich with a combined 133 million dollars in prize money on the line.
Tomorrow’s (Friday) Lotto Max Draw is set at 70 million dollars with an additional 63 max million prizes to be tacked on.
BC Lottery Corporation Spokesperson, Matt Lee told Vista Radio the massive jackpot should garner no shortage of interest.
“Yeah, with a total of 133 million dollars, it is certainly a staggering amount of money. I don’t think we are quite in the record-breaking territory just yet but we have seen this lotto max jackpot rollover a few times.”
He added it’s a pretty fun time to be a lottery player.
“We have 70 million dollars up for the main draw plus an additional 63 max million prizes available for Friday’s draw. We would love to see that unbelievable jackpot won here in BC.”
On Tuesday’s draw, three people in BC (Cowichan Valley, Mission-Kent, and Vancouver) claimed Max Million prizes of a million dollars each. In terms of the Lotto Max, one person from Western Canada had six out of seven numbers correct plus the bonus number collecting a cool $498,000.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were as follows:
12, 14, 23, 25, 39, 40, 44, and 24 (Bonus).
