Getting a business license may become easier for shops in Burns Lake.
A proposed change to the “Business License Bylaw” would update the rules for the first time since its creation in 1983.
Many businesses have found the bylaw’s wording to be outdated which has made getting a license a difficult process
By combing a few bylaws, Staff has “streamlined the application process,” making it easier to get a license.
Annual fees range anywhere from $0 to $110.
Council will discuss this topic at their meeting on Tuesday, August 11th.
