Smithers Chamber of Commerce issue last call on nominations for award ceremony

If you know of a great business in the Bulkley Valley the Smithers Chamber of Commerce needs your help.

The Chamber is looking for nominations for their annual Community and Business Excellence Awards (CBEA) ceremony which is scheduled to be held on November 25th.

With thirteen different categories for nomination Chamber, Executive Director Sheena Miller stated that there is a category for everyone.

“It’s just such an opportunity to empower our community and to say thank you to all the incredible people who make this community awesome,” said Miller.

This year’s categories include “Tourism Excellence”, “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” and “Family-Friendly Business of the year”, among others.

“We’re just so excited because it’s going to be an amazing night to recognize all of our incredible businesses, service providers, and entrepreneurs and have a lot of fun at the same time.”

Nominations are open until Sunday (October 30) and can be accessed here.
