Elon Musk is defending the mass layoffs at Twitter by saying axed employees received a three-month payment from the company.
There’s word as many as half of its global workers could lose their jobs.
Musk says there is “unfortunately no choice” when the company is losing more than four million dollars a day.
Still, Musk is thought to want to drastically cut costs at the company after completing his 44-billion dollars takeover of the social media platform last week.
