The province adds the B-C Parks website will be open for campground bookings as of 7 am on January 3rd.
This year, campers will be allowed to book their sites up to four months in advance up from the two-month time frame used last season.
Environment Minister George Heyman says they continue to monitor public input, to see how the system can be improved.
Bookings for campsites have increased more than 26 percent over the past three years, with 317-thousand spots booked last summer.
