A glimmer of good news for parents struggling to find children’s cold medicine at pharmacies.
Health Canada has secured a foreign supply of children’s acetaminophen which will be available to buy in the coming weeks.
Health Canada has also approved the import of acetaminophen and ibuprofen to supply hospitals.
In the meantime, the health agency is asking parents not to hoard over-the-counter medications as they are in short supply.
If you cannot find children’s pain medication, ask your pharmacist about alternatives.
