A search warrant at a South Hazelton Residence led to the seizure of drugs and guns.
The New Hazelton RCMP executed a search warrant at the residence, located on 21st Avenue, on Sunday.
Approximately 250 grams of mixed illicit drugs, suspected to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, and two rifles were seized.
Six people were also taken into police custody.
“This comes on the heels of another previous search warrant that was executed in the last couple of weeks, where more drugs were seized,” said Cpl. Anthony Brooks, the acting commander of the New Hazelton detachment.
“We are committed to continuing to focus on making our community safer through targeted enforcement.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment.
