Inflation rate drops a tenth of a percent in November

The inflation rate dropped slightly to 6.8 per cent in November.

That’s down from 6.9 per cent in October.

Statistics Canada says slower price growth for gasoline and furniture was offset by faster growth in mortgage interest costs and rent.

If you feel that you paid more for groceries last month you’re right, the agency says grocery prices climbed 11.4 percent.
