Residents of Houston will be treated to a free BBQ this weekend.
The 3rd annual Canfor Summer Event will be in Steelhead Park on Saturday, treating everyone to food and a car show.
There will also be a farmer’s market on hand and a big bouncy castle for the kids.
Volunteer Troy Reitsma recalls one his favourite moments from years past.
“I really enjoyed the wagon ride when we had it last year. It basically takes you on a tour of all of downtown and amongst the vehicles; just a nice little tour of downtown Houston,” he says.
The event will take place from 12 PM until 2 PM.
