Smithers town council meets tonight.
Mayor and council will be discussing urban chickens and the possibility of tweaking bylaws to allow hens on properties larger than .4 of a hectare.
A delegation will give council an update on Willowvale Marsh accessibility improvements .
The Smithers Mountain Bike Association will also be making a presentation and council will consider installing water service into Elks Park that will allow the Bike Association to water the dirt jumps and fill water bottles.
The meeting gets underway at 730 on council chambers.
