The Charity Golf Tournament donated the $120,000 to the Bulkley Valley District Hospital today.
All the money will benefit the hospital’s maternity ward.
Co-chairman Kent Delwish says local participants and donations are what make the event successful.
“I love it when the community comes out and supports this type of event like they did. It makes me proud to be from here. You feel good about the amount of work that we’ve done,” he says.
The money was raised throughout the celebrity golf weekend, $100,000 of which was from the live auction.
