7000 new foreign films through Smithers Library

The Smithers Public Library has a new service that is accessible from anywhere in the world.

With their library card, residents can now access “IndieFlix”, which has 7000 films from 50 countries.

Director Wendy Wright says she hopes that people can explore and discover something new.

“They’ll find some real nuggets, some really unusual movies here that spark their imagination or that they’ll want to share with people,” she says.

The website features International film award winners including documentaries, cartoons, and b-movies.
