Health Minister Adrian Dix says we can expect a return to the wearing of face masks in some medical settings.
But exactly where they will be needed and when won’t be announced until later today (Thursday).
Dix added chief health officer, Doctor Bonnie Henry, is reviewing the latest evidence and making recommendations.
The announcement is also expected to include details on vaccination programs for the flu and COVID-19.
