Smithers RCMP responded to a collision along Highway 16 near Donaldson Road Tuesday.
Police, firefighters, and ambulance were all on-scene where a cyclist collided with a vehicle parked on the westbound shoulder.
The 67-year-old cyclist suffered “serious but non-life threatening” injuries. He was taken to the local hospital, then transferred to Vancouver General.
The driver was uninjured.
