A new Provincial project in co-operation with the Wet’suwet’en First Nation will look into long-term employment opportunities in the area.
The project will receive $165,000 of Provincial funding and will include a 3-year strategy for researching and identifying labour market and training gaps.
Among the fields of resources to be explored is LNG.
The first steps of the project are expected to be completed by this upcoming April.
