People from across the Bulkley Valley attended the fourth annual Health Care and Hospital Foundation Gala on Saturday night.
The sold-out event included dinner, auctions, dancing, and entertainment from CBC’s Royal Canadian Air Farce comedian Jessica Holmes.
Assistant Executive Director Laurel Menzel says the event was a success.
“The bar has been set with the performer [Holmes] we had on hand. The Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge provided an outstanding meal,” she said. “I was watching. People by the end of the night were dancing on tables so it looked like everyone was a having a good time to me.”
A grand funding total will be calculated by the end of the week.
Menzel did say that over $26,000 were raised between the live and silent auctions.
