Pilots at WestJet Encore have reached a tentative settlement with the company, averting the threat of a strike that was set to begin tomorrow (Satuday).
Details won’t be released until a ratification vote is held.
The pilots rejected one tentative agreement earlier this month, because it didn’t address what union officials called “ongoing pilot attraction and retention issues.”
WestJet Encore flies to smaller cities in Western Canada, feeding passengers into the airline’s larger hubs.
