Lower Mainland schools hold a precedence over Northern programs, shunning this year’s local champs
Coach Graham Pollard says the teams in the South is tough, but the boys deserve a shot at the competition.
“These guys down South, they play for there clubs and when then when school returns, they play for their schools, so essentially, they’re playing year round. so they’re much stronger competition,” he says, “but at the same time, we have guys here that are very talented, and very enthusiastic, and keen to have a crack at those guys down South.”
Pollard will be petitioning this rule at the next AGM meeting.
The Provincial tournament doesn’t take place until early spring of 2016.
