Some properties in Smithers will be without power through the day tomorrow.
According to BC Hydro, power will be turned off at 9:00 that morning so crews can replace a power pole.
“It will impact about 158 customers and there will be some residential and commercial customers impacted,” said Northern Community Relations Manager Mike Kellett.
The area affected by the outage includes:
- 3668 – 3756 First Avenue
- 3410 – 3771 Second Avenue
- 3415 – 3739 Third Avenue
- 515 – 3683 Fourth Avenue
- 1180, 1261, 1281 Alberta Street
- 1230, 1270 Dominion Street
- 3647, 3657 Fourth Avenue
- 1188, 1260 King Street
Power is expected to return by 3:00 that afternoon.
