Terry Fox Run events are set to kick off on Sunday in Burns Lake and Smithers.
In Burns Lake, registration will start at noon with the run, walk, bike starting at 1:00.
“During that time, we have live entertainment, concessions, BBQs, door prizes, and we have a silent harvest auction that takes place as well,” said Commitee Member Tammy Zayac.
It takes place at the Francois Lake Hall.
In Smithers, registration starts at 1:00 that afternoon with the run, walk, bike starting at 2:00.
It takes place outside the Bulkley Valley Museum including a BBQ, live entertainment, and a food truck.
Proceeds from the events will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation who help fund cancer research.
