A call for King Charles III Coronation Medal nominations has been put out by Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach.
Criteria for nominations include:
- Be an individual resident of the current federal riding of Skeena-Bulkley Valley
- Have made a significant contribution to Canada, or to a particular province, territory, region of or community in Canada, or attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada
- Been alive on May 6, 2023, the date of His Majesty’s Coronation. Nominations can be made posthumously, provided the nominee was alive on that date
A yet to be selected panel of adjudicators from communities across the region will go through nominations to select recipients.
Nominations are open until November 15th and can be submitted through Bachrach’s website.
