Fall weather expected for the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District’s Halloween

Rain and wind aren’t expected to show this Halloween night, but temperatures will remain cool.

Tomorrow (Thursday) morning, there could be some rain in the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District but that should end early in the afternoon.

“It would be fine to ditch or leave behind your rain jacket or umbrella,” said Environment Canada Meteorologist Ken Dosanjh.

“Winds will be fairly light as well do you can ditch your wind breaker if you have it.”

Temperatures are expected to be in the three-to-five-degree range that afternoon before dropping below zero.

“Dressing in layers is helpful when making that transition from indoors to outdoors so dress appropriately,” said Dosanjh.

More information about the Smithers and Burns Lake forecasts can be found on the Environment Canada website.
