The Smithers Art Gallery’s annual Wintergold Craft Fair starts tomorrow (Friday)
The event has been running for 53 years, featuring 29 artists and makers in the Bulkley Valley.
“We truly cannot squeeze another table in. We could stuff more tables in but then we couldn’t fit all the people to look at the items,” said Manager Nicole Chernish.
This is the most vendors the event has ever hosted with even more who had applied for this year.
“Last year was fun because we had a food vendor out front that had inflatables you could see from every end of town I think,” Chernish said.
She added this is one of the first craft fairs to run in the Smithers area every year.
The fair runs from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. tomorrow and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
