A new Director of Leisure Services has been named in the District of Houston.
Rebecca Tait started the role on Monday bringing experience in leadership, program development, and community engagement.
In Houston, she spent four years managing the Pleasant Valley Plaza before becoming the Director of International Education at Keyano College in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
“Having grown up in the Bulkley Valley, I am both honored and eager to contribute to the well-being of our community and address its evolving needs,” said Tait in a news release.
She’s also looking forward to hiking and skiing the Morice Mountain Nordic Ski trails.
The district anticipates Rebecca’s expertise and vision will bring new energy and ideas to leisure services, supporting a wide range of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
