According to Drive BC, Highway 16 closed again at 2:00 this morning. (Thursday)
At midnight, the highway was briefly opened to single lane alternating traffic.
The highway is expected to reopen at 5:00.

New Hazelton RCMP closed Highway 16 tonight (Wednesday) about 60 kilometers west of New Hazelton.
According to police, this is due to a serious motor vehicle incident that occurred near Cedarvale.
