Security camera footage is being sought by the Smithers RCMP after a grey Hyundai Tucson was stolen on Saturday. (Dec. 14)
According to police, the vehicle allegedly drove erratically down Main Street prior to police successfully locating and arresting the suspect.
“By coordinating their efforts, our officers were able to arrest the suspect and recover the vehicle,” said Smithers RCMP Constable Jocelyn Foidart.
Businesses along Main Street with footage between 8:30 and 10:00 that night, or anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Smithers detachment.
