The pumps are operational at 7-Eleven in Smithers following several customers reported incidents.
On January 10th, customers took to the Smithers Customer Service Review Facebook page after their vehicles experienced issues not long after getting fuel at the gas station.
“We are pleased to be serving & re-fueling our customers again and are monitoring new fuel supply through routine testing at regular intervals,” said 7-Eleven Canada in a statement to My Bulkley Lakes Now.
When users’ vehicles were looked at by mechanics, water was discovered in their fuel tanks mixed with the gas.
“At any time, customers may contact us at 1-800-255-0711 with questions or concerns,” said 7-Eleven Canada.
