Funding provided to The Link Burns Lake

The Link in Burns Lake is receiving $70,000 from the Prince George & Region Community Prosperity Fund for two of its programs.

This is through the Prince George Community Foundation through a $25 million investment from the province.

$50,000 is going towards funding operations and programing, with the rest going to the Emergency Hamper Support Program.

“Over the past few years, British Columbians continue to showcase resilience, innovation, and tenacity as they face new challenges,” said Megan Dykeman, Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development and Non-profits.

In total, $790,000 was distributed to 32 organizations across Northern BC.
