Granisle residents will be without power tomorrow (Tuesday) as system maintenance is performed at the Babine substation.
According to BC Hydro, this will also affect the surrounding communities of Smithers Landing, Fort Babine, Takla Landing, and Topley Landing, affecting 765 customers.
Power will be turned off at 8:00 in the morning and it is expected to return by 6:00 p.m.
Some steps residents can take to prepare include filling milk containers with water and freezing them to keep food cold and preparing firewood if you have a wood stove.
