A traffic stop led to an investigation by Smithers RCMP leading to the arrest of three people.
According to police, drugs, guns, and cash were seized from the vehicle.
“This work is part of our ongoing effort in 2025 to reduce the presence of illegal weapons and drugs in the community and enhance public safety,” said Corporal Jim Preston.
Mounties later obtained a search warrant where more drugs, weapons, and cash were found.
“This investigation reflects our focused efforts to disrupt criminal activity and get illegal guns and drugs off the street,” Preston added.
The investigation remains ongoing.
