The Town of Smithers is making it easier for you to get rid of your Christmas trees.
Town Workers will pick up your old trees on your designated garbage day between January 4th and 8th.
Trees must be free of all decorations in order to be collected. They must be on the curb by 8 AM on your designated garbage day.
If you’ve missed your day already, trees can be dropped off at the Public Works Yard in Smithers or at the Telkwa Transfer station.
