Weather Canada has issued a freezing rain warning along Highway 16 between Smithers and Terrace.
Freezing rain has caused ice along the busy road.
Freezing rain is expected to continue near Terrace through Tuesday night when “warm, moist Pacific air overruns sub-freezing near surface air.”
Weather Canada recommends you “consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.”
