Coroner service releases names of weekend crash victims

The names of the four people who died in this weekend’s tragic crash near New Hazelton have been released.

67 John Frances Michell, his 75 year old brother Alfred Albert and their 81 year old sister Jeannie Charlotte were all in a westbound van on Saturday night when they collided head on with an eastbound SUV on Highway 16.

The SUV was being driven by 65 year old Christine Ellen McIntosh of Prince Rupert.

The three occupants in the van were all from Moricetown and all four were pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP and the Coroners service continue to investigate.
