School District 54 superintendant Chris van der Mark says all final exams are a “go” despite the teacher strike.
The school district issued a note today that Smithers and Houston students may cross picket lines and enter the school to use the libraries and computer labs for studying.
He says it is up to the parents and students if they want to cross the picket lines and work inside the school.
Additionally the Labour Relations Board has ruled that students should not have to cross picket lines for scheduled exams.
